About Us

Nepal Shotokan Karate Association is a Shotokan styled Association. It is non political and non profitable association. It is affiliated to Japan Shotokan Karate Association (JSKA) Japan, Japan Karate Association (JKA) Japan and Shotokan Karate Do of United Nation (SKDUN) Romania. The Association is under the leadership of good experience of participating in different National, International Championships, Seminars and Master Training Camps and has made significant contribution in the field of Karate in National and International Level.

The Association is going forward with the view of Shotokan Karate and is guiding Karate as a method for good health, a sports, a technique of self defense and also as a Japanese martial art. The opinion of members of Association is very positive to promote and develop Shotokan Karate in Nepal and they are very dedicated to their mission.

The Association has currently consists of 22 Karate Branch Dozo with a purpose built main dozo i.e. headquarter. The Association has also its Branch Dozo in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan also. The Association still expands with schools, clubs, branch dozo, all over the Kingdom setting new standards in our ancient fighting art.

The Association’s main objectives are to promote and develop Shotokan Karate in all over the country by encouraging and increasing awareness to the people. Organizing and participating different National and International Championships, seminar, training camps. So that it could produce high quality players.

The Association is under the leadership of good experience of participating in different National, International Championships, Seminars and Master Training Camps and has made significant contribution in the field of Karate in National and International Level.
